Teen Skills Lab, operated by the Initiative Manager in Mérida, Mexico, is responsible for the processing of personal data collected through registration forms.

If health or medical information is voluntarily provided, it will be treated as sensitive personal data and used solely for safety purposes.

3. Purpose of Processing

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

Primary purposes:

Registration and attendance management
Verification of eligibility
Emergency contact and response
Communication regarding session logistics
Ensuring participant safety during sessions

Secondary purposes:

Inclusion in optional WhatsApp group communications (only if consented)

We do not use personal data for advertising or commercial marketing.

4. Sensitive Data

If medical or health information is provided, it will be used exclusively to safeguard the participant’s well-being during sessions.

Explicit parental consent is required for the processing of sensitive data.

5. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored securely on Tally Forms servers.
Access is restricted to the Initiative Manager and designated Webmaster.
Appropriate administrative and technical safeguards are implemented to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

6. Data Retention

Personal data is retained for a maximum period of one (1) year from the date of registration or one (1) year after the child attends their last session, after which it is securely deleted, unless a longer retention period is legally required.

7. Data Sharing

Personal data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties.

Information may be disclosed only:

To emergency services in the event of a medical or safety emergency
When legally required by competent authorities

Personal data will not be transferred outside Mexico except through secure cloud service providers operating under appropriate data protection safeguards.

Parents or legal guardians may exercise their rights to:

Access personal data
Rectify inaccurate data
Cancel (request deletion of) data
Oppose certain processing activities

By completing the registration form and selecting the corresponding consent checkboxes, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges having read and accepted this Privacy Notice and authorizes the processing of the minor’s personal data as described herein.
