Eligibility

Teen Skills Lab is designed for participants aged 11-13 years.

Participants outside this age range may be admitted at the discretion of program organizers.

Participant Conduct

Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to:

  • Treat facilitators, mentors, and other participants with respect
  • Participate actively and constructively
  • Follow instructions from facilitators and mentors
  • Respect the space and materials provided
  • Maintain confidentiality about personal matters shared by other participants
  • Refrain from bullying, harassment, discrimination, or violence of any kind
  • Avoid behavior that disrupts the learning environment

Disciplinary Actions

Teen Skills Lab reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior:

  • Violates this Code of Conduct
  • Endangers themselves or others
  • Repeatedly disrupts sessions
  • Demonstrates disrespect toward facilitators or participants
  • If a participant is removed, the parent/guardian will be contacted immediately.

Health, Safety, and Supervision

Health Information

Parents/guardians must inform Teen Skills Lab of any:

  • Medical conditions that may affect participation
  • Allergies or dietary restrictions
  • Medications required during sessions
  • Physical limitations or accommodations needed
  • Behavioral or emotional support needs

Emergency Medical Authorization

By registering, you authorize Teen Skills Lab to:

  • Contact emergency services if necessary
  • Seek emergency medical treatment for your child if you cannot be reached
  • Transport your child to a medical facility if required
  • Important: You are responsible for all medical costs incurred. Teen Skills Lab is not responsible for any medical expenses

Supervision

  • Sessions are supervised by trained facilitators and older teen mentors
  • Parents/guardians are not required to stay during sessions but must be reachable by phone

Attendance, Registration, and Cancellations

  • Pre-registration is required for all sessions
  • Each session is complete in itself; attendance at previous sessions is not required
  • Space may be limited; early registration is encouraged
  • If your child cannot attend a registered session, please notify us as soon as possible so we can offer the space to another participant
  • Teen Skills Lab may cancel or reschedule sessions due to insufficient enrollment, facilitator illness or emergency, or venue restrictions
  • Registered families will be notified via email and/or WhatsApp as soon as possible
